I don't know what it is about new yarn that makes me want to look at it. Of course, I want to knit it too, but right now, while it's still so new, I just want to stare at it. The vibrant colors, the interesting colorways. It has such a different allure than my old yarn that I'm already familiar with; colors and textures I've seen and felt before. Yarn I can't or don't want to find a use for.
I have just two weeks before I can cast on my May socks (the self-striping Felici in colorway Afternoon) -- will I be able to hold out until then?
The green is for my June socks, not yet designed, and the berry tones are for my July socks -- raspberry picking month! -- also yet to be designed.
I hope you share a similar glee in aquiring New Yarn. After all, you're here, so I'll assume that you do.
